Frequently Asked Questions

We encourage anyone interested in learning more about our services to contact us. Chartwell is eager to answer any question that you may have. In the meantime, following are questions that have been asked by many of our clients.

Q: I'm interested in Chartwell's Price Compliance Audit services, but I do not have the time to commit to another project. How much time investment would I and my staff have to commit to this project?

A: Our Price Compliance Audit service requires little time from our client. After the client signs-up with us, the client's time is invested in gathering vendor contract documentation, executing a Chartwell-prepared Letter of Authorization, answering some follow-up questions, and discussing the findings with Chartwell. The total client time investment is approximately 10 hours on this project.

Q: We have auditors in our office every year and they take up our time and resources. How long will you be on-site and what resources will you require?

A: Chartwell's world-class technology allows us to perform our services in our home office. There is no reason for us to be on-site and we require none of your resources to perform our services.

Q: What happens if my vendor refuses to cooperate with the Price Compliance Audit?

A: Vendors that are in compliance with the terms of the agreement with their client are not opposed to being audit as they have nothing to hide. Conversely, if a vendor opposes or puts up road blocks to an audit, this raises a red-flag for our client. In this situation, Chartwell does not require the client to pursue the audit, but the client should be very concerned about a vendor that does not cooperate with an auditor.

Q: Our organization requires a formal bid process to acquire goods and services. How can Chartwell help me with our RFP/RFQ?

A: Chartwell has helped many organizations through their formal bid processes. We can manage the entire process for our client, or assist our client with certain aspects of the process. The amount of our involvement is dependent on the needs of our client. Regardless of the amount of Chartwell's involvement in the RFP process, our client controls the entire process.
